Neighborhood Communities in Eastern Orlando (Lake Nona area):

The Lake Nona area boasts fabulous neighborhoods. North Shore at Lake Hart, Live Oak Estates, East Park and Eagle Creek are among some of the finest communities.

North Shore at Lake Hart is a 949 acre master planned community situated on beautiful Lake Hart. This gated community is home to North Shore at Lake Hart semi-private golf course. The amenities at North Shore at Lake Hart include a pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, a baseball field, a boat dock and a children's play area. The brand new Moss Park Elementary School, which opened 2007, also calls North Shore at Lake Hart its home. This neighborhood is located on Moss Park Road which intersects Narcoosee Road.

Live Oak Estates is a quiet community located across from Lake Mary Jane and Lake Hart. The beautiful homes sit on spacious one-acre wooded home sites. The home owners in Live Oak Estate enjoy the community recreation area, complete with a playground and a sand volleyball court.

East Park is a fabric of single family homes and villas. It is located on Narcoosee Road and Moss Park Road. Boater and fishing enthusiasts will enjoy all the beautiful local lakes: Lake Hart, Lake Mary Jane, Lake Whippoorwill, Lake AJ, Fells Cove and Lake Toho.

Attraction – Orlando’s attractions are located ½ hour away from Lake Nona. Disney Theme Parks, Sea World, Universal Studios are among the parks that draw people from around the world to visit.

Beaches – Cocoa Beach, on the east coast, is a relaxing 30 minute drive from the Narcoosee corridor. The west coast beaches are a bit further approximately 1 ½ away.

Kennedy Space Center – The space center is another big attraction in Florida. It is only 30 minutes form the Lake Nona area. Live shuttle launches are easily seen from Lake Nona.

Lake Nona YMCA – The lake Nona YMCA has a state-of-the-art wellness center, outdoor pool, aerobic room, spinning classroom and gymnasium. It also provides a child development center.

The Future of the Lake Nona Area:

Lake Nona will be the home of the new Science and Technology Park. It will include UCF medical school, VA hospital, Nemours Children’s Hospital and Burnham Institute of Medical Research. Lake Nona is also looking forward to a new upscale open air shopping mall, movie theaters, fitness centers, cafes and new public schools.
